where i find solitude

dumagute

Ive bee thinking of place that touched me deepest, change my life, give me joy and ease all my worries. .
On late years of my college life, me and my sister were sent to Dumaguete to study. I was kinda hesitant to follow my mom for i know that we would really be having a hard time for they speak a different dialect. But parents are bosses so we pack our things headed up to a new destination.. DUMAGUETE.. And there the adventure begins.......
Me, my mom and my sis ride on a ceres bus late evening almost midnight so that we will be arriving early in the morning in Dumaguete and just go directly to the school to process the enrollment and look for a place to stay..I wasnt able to take a glance of the sceneries outside for it was too dark so i just slept on that 5 to 6 hours travel.. My mom woke me up as we reached Dumaguete and on my first sight of the place was blue sea of dumaguete at the boulevard... i was looking on the horizon as the sun starts to rise thinking what would be my life in dumaguete.. When we arrive the terminal, my mom was cursing for she wasnt aware that she had her monthly period and the back portion of her pants were bloody red..:D So she hurried to the john and change and we headed to the school for the enrollment.
As i discovered Dumaguete, i was really amazed on the simplicity of the place and the people, well aside of course from the beautiful beaches... Only in Dumaguete where i was can find solitude when im upset. I just go in boulevard set on a bench face the sea and watched the waves as they rushed to the shore.. Only in Dumaguete where with your thirty pesos, you can eat balot and tempura with an 8 ouce softdrink as you enjoy the classic songs of one of the acoustic entertainers for free. Only in Dumaguete where i can go to beach and enjoy the sun for free :D hehehe whew! i missed dumaguete
